Shafeeq Shajahan: The Bollywood Guide To Revenge @ Soho Theatre
Hell hath no fury like a Bollywood Diva scorned! Triple-threat SHAFEEQ SHAJAHAN and musical genius VASILIS KONSTANTINIDES are back with a raucous new cabaret. In an unapologetically queer tour-de-force, the pair blend old Bollywood glamour, Indian classical music, and a sick disco beat to tell an age-old tale of sweet, sweet redemption. Enter Shafeeqs queer, Muslim world, depicting risqu reflections on the men who have failed him, while Vasilis dazzles on the piano with haunting melodies that reimagine his scars. Hell hath no fury like a Bollywood Diva scorned!
