Cecil Beaton’s Diaries @ Jermyn Street Theatre

Cecil Beatons Diaries by Cecil Beaton adapted and performed by Richard Stirling. Cecil Beatons photographs showed his versatility; his diaries exposed the cost. Blisteringly funny, with appearances ranging from the Queen Mother and Elizabeth Taylor to Churchill and Truman Capote, the diaries paint a self-portrait of the 20th centurys most compelling dandy. Direct from Brits Off Broadway, the diaries of photographer and designer Sir Cecil Beaton come to the London stage for the first time, to accompany his most iconic images. Overview: If it is snobbish to prefer those who are beautiful, I am a snob. Richard Stirling: Richard has appeared on film, television (The Crown, The Man who Fell to Earth) and UK and US stages, most recently off-Broadway in Cecil Beaton's Diaries. Media: Richard Stirling epitomises Beatons crisply tailored demeanour EDINBURGH GUIDE .. Unexpectedly moving THE STAGE
