Shetland Pride 2023 Highlands and Islands
Shetland Pride takes place on Saturday the 1st July 2023. This will be Shetland's second national & international Pride Festival - it will also be the MOST northerly Pride Event in the UK! Shetland is closer to the Arctic circle than it is to London, and is on the same latitude as the southern tip of Greenland! The Festival which is being welcomed by the Shetland Islands Council and all local politicians is being seen as a chance for members of the LGBTQ+ community in the isles and from all over the UK and far beyond to come together.
