Joyous new musical shares the real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada in the wake of 9/11. Here, the small Newfoundland community invited these come from aways into their lives.Two of those stranded are a gay couple, Kevin and Kevin who are initially nervous to disclose that they're gay to their host family and fellow isolated passengers, but soon find that they are welcome to express themselves freely. Come From Away is in its essence, a story about hope and the fighting human spirit. Seamless choreography, emotional soundtrack and an incredible story! This heartwarming tale of human kindness has taken the West End by storm, winning four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical.
