KARL, Karl Lagerfeld’s Estate Online I @ Sotheby's (01 Dec to 06 Dec)

KARL, Karl Lagerfelds Estate. Sotheby's is paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld with the sale of more than 1,000 lots from his residences in France and Monaco, an anthology of his personal taste but also of his life and career. The first part of the KARL online auction between 26 November and 6 December offers collectors a unique opportunity to acquire art objects and pieces owned by the creative design genius that was Karl Lagerfeld. This auction features a superb collection of Georges Lepape drawings, and a diverse selection of design, clothing, luggage and pieces portraying Karl Lagerfeld from his residences in Monaco and Louveciennes, every one of which bears witness to his extraordinarily good taste. The first session of sales will take place from 03 to 05 December at One Monte-Carlo, located in the heart of the Principality. These Monegasque sales will present a broad panorama of art deco works, including a fine selection of furniture by Louis Se and Andr Mare, as well as numerous contemporary objects and art by Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami, an important group of works in silver, household linens and glassware - all illustrations of Karl Lagerfeld's lavish lifestyle.
