Manchester Pride 2020 - Cancelled

The Manchester Pride Festival 2019 takes place on 28th - 31st August 2020. Manchester Pride campaigns for LGBT+ equality; celebrates LGBT+ life and creates opportunities that engage LGBT+ people so that they can thrive. Parade: The Manchester Pride Parade is one of The Festival's most highly anticipated events, with thousands of people marching proudly together through the streets of Manchester in front of tens of thousands of supporters cheering them along the way. This year's Manchester Pride Parade was our biggest and boldest yet, with a whopping 205 organisations and 14,000 participants filling the streets with colour! Gay Village Party The roots of Manchester Pride and the Festival are firmly in the heart of our world-famous Gay Village. Taking place over all 4 days of the bank holiday weekend, the Gay Village Party proved to be the ultimate street party celebration as the sun shone down on the much loved cobbled streets! With community performances in Sackville Gardens, plus markets and parties across The Gay Villages venues, the Gay Village Party continued to be home to the hub of the festivals celebrations. Bringing together all of the different members of our LGBT+ family we hosted a Family Zone, Trans Pride, The Expo, Sing-A-Long Cinema, The Fetish Emporium, Sackville Square Fair, the Silent Disco and more. Gay Village Party tickets are subsidised by Manchester Pride. The cost helps us deliver a safe, community pride celebration.
