Exploring issues such as climate crisis, Brexit, gentrification and the rise of populist politics, these poems say more in a few lines than politicians say in volumes and offer an antidote to modern living. Nathan Evans is a writer, director and performer whose work has been funded by the Arts Council, toured with the British Council, archived in the British Film Institute and broadcast on Channel Four. His poetry has been published by Dead Ink, Inky Needles, Poetry Space, Manchester Metropolitan University and performed at Polari, Jazz Verse Jukebox, Coffee-House Poetry, Hammer & Tongue, Bang Said the Gun. His shows have been presented at Soho Theatre, Latitude, Southbank Centre, Arcola, Wiltons, Roundhouse, BAC, Little Angel, Hoxton Hall, Wonderground, Drill Hall, Pleasance, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Royal Court, Chelsea Theatre, Contact, Leicester Square Theatre, Traverse, Glastonbury and Aldeburgh festivals. His film screenings include Curzon, ICA, Flare, London Short Film Festival.
