Velvet-Club Connecting Lesbians & Bi-women around the World
Suffolk Pride is a countywide event that celebrates LGBTQ+ equality and diversity. The one-day parade and Pride celebration event will take place on the Waterfront in Ipswich on Saturday 22 June 2019 from 12 to 6pm. The parade along the Waterfront will start at mid-day near Dance East and finish outside Cult Caf on Orwell Quay, where there will be a variety of live music and entertainment, a range of food and beverage stalls and selected business stands showcasing their products, services and support for the LGBTQ+ Community. People across Suffolk are invited to enjoy an affordable family-friendly day of fantastic entertainment, to taste the best food and refreshments and to learn more about Suffolks LGBTQ+ community. As part of the Pride celebrations, there will also be a programme of activities at schools and libraries across Suffolk in June. On the day we hope to continue festivities into the evening with associated events more to follow.
