Simon Callow returns to the stage in London with his critically acclaimed A Christmas Carol, playing at the Arts Theatre, London for a strictly limited 5 week season from 8 December 2018. Based on the performances of A Christmas Carol Charles Dickens himself gave throughout the UK and America, Simon Callows one-man show embodies the very heart of this beloved holiday classic. A Christmas Carol is one of the best-known and beloved stories in the English language. A staple of countless family holiday traditions. Simon Callow and director-designer Tom Cairns create a stunning one-man theatre experience that is sure to be the highlight of your Christmas in London. Simon Callow is a highly respected and acclaimed actor and author. He returns to Charles Dickens with A Christmas Carol in 2018 following his success in the West End and Broadway with The Mystery of Charles Dickens, and his much-lauded Dt Marigold & Mr Chops, as well as his guest appearances as Dickens on TV smash, hit Dr Who. In 2012 he published a biography of the author. Callow is also known for his stage work including The Woman in White, Waiting for Godot (opposite Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart), and Equus.
