Southern Baptist Sissies is the unforgettable story of four boys growing up gay in a religious community in Dallas, Texas. Del Shores hilarious, wildly imaginative and moving play follows their lives from eight years old to adulthood as they veer between friendship, sex and estrangement. Southern Baptist Sissies won the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding LA Theater Production, as well as multiple LA Weekly Theater Awards, Los Angeles Critics Awards, Ovation Awards, Backstage West Garland Awards and Robby Awards.
