Londons award winning LGBT literary salon continues to thrill audiences in 2016. Based at Southbank Centre and now with a celebrated national touring strand, it showcases the best in emerging and established testimony to queer hearts and lives across literature, spoken word and performance. Tonight Juno Dawson formerly known as James headlines the mayhem and sparkle. A multi-award winning author of dark teen thrillers, Juno's work includes titles Hollow Pike, Cruel Summer, Say Her Name and Under My Skin. In 2015, she released her first contemporary romance, All of the Above and in 2016, she will author one of the World Book Day titles, Spot the Difference Juno is a regular contributor to Attitude magazine, Glamour magazine and The Guardian and has contributed to news items on BBC Woman's Hour, ITV News and Newsnight concerning sexuality, identity, literature and education. There will also be readings by Will Davis, Rachel B. Glaser, Rebecca Chance and Mark Lock. Polari is curated and hosted by author and journalist Paul Burston who was recently named one of '33 inspiring people from around the world promoting freedom, equality and LGBT rights every day' in the British Council's first fiveFilms4freedom Global List.
