We welcome you to explore LGBT collections that span numerous government departments. This event will showcase original documents illustrating the many aspects of LGBT lives from the past, from the criminal case surrounding the Shim Sham club to the libel trial of the Well of Loneliness. In honour of LGBT History Month, we have organised a series of talks and workshops, throughout February, which will be looking at the creative and cultural impact that LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) communities have had on the vast landscape of British history.
