The Pink Singers: By Special Arrangement – Cadogan Hall

The Pink Singers: By Special Arrangement celebrates over 30 years of musical development of Europes longest running LGBT choir, showcasing the diversity and talent of its members through their very own arrangements and compositions. This concert features a hand-picked blend of songs, tailor-made to delight your ears with full eight-part harmony. Featuring music from Kate Bush, Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Electric Light Orchestra and Joni Mitchell, to name but a few, theyll be performing your favourites as youve never heard them before. Alongside these home-made arrangements, the 90-strong choir performs commissioned works by the likes of George F. Handel, Matthew King and Paul Mealor, and showcases compositions from its very own members and friends including songs with poignant texts by Oscar Wilde and William Yeats. The choir is joined by two home-grown groups the bubbly Barberfellas and the high-spirited Gin and Harmonics. Both groups are established in their own right and bring close harmonies and plenty of fun into the mix. This show is BSL interpreted.
