Hello, and thank for visiting the site for Oxford Pride. Only a week to go until Oxford Pride's Parade and Event on Saturday 6th June 2015 will see us once again celebrate all things LGBT here in the city of Dreaming Spires. With a change of location for the first time since our celebrations began, we bring Pride into the heart of the city, within the Castle Quarter and Paradise Street. We have two stages this year, the main stage will run from midday and the second stage will open later in the afternoon and see us through to late night. Acts are currently being booked to give a huge range of diversity, from singers and bands, to dancers and choirs. Music genres from Funk and Jazz to Rap and Pop. Details will appear on our Facebook and Twitter feeds, keep your eyes pealed for more details. Should you wish to join us in planning next year, the Annual General Meeting is 7pm, Tuesday 30 June 2015 at the Oxford Town Hall. Nomiantions for elections should be with the Secretary at least one week before the meeting. We'd like to hear from you on what you'd like to see, not only at the event but how Pride can be part of the LGBT community in a much stronger way in 2015. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you soon.
