The Albert Kennedy Trust is delighted to join forces with Angus Malcolm & the Warwick Rowers and Paralympian Claire Harvey to celebrate Sporting Role Models in the gay community. The young people we work with often have few role models to look up to, and the recent trend of sports stars both gay and straight showing their support of the gay community has given thousands of young people the courage to be themselves. Unfortunately not all young people who are brave enough to come out are able to do so in a safe and supported environment, and that is where the Albert Kennedy Trust steps in. For the last 25 years we have helped young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or at risk in their home environment because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. By purchasing a ticket, bidding in the auction and having a go on our luxury raffle you will provide vital funds to enable us to continue our work, and help even more young people in need. Details of the auction will be released soon, and you will be able to start bidding on Monday 17th March Just let us know your bid and your maximum bid and help us raise the most possible on the night.
