Presented in association with Open City Docs Fest Saad Khan and Saadat Munirs debut documentary follows the lives of four individuals and their constant play of hide and seek with mainstream Pakistan where LGBT rights are almost non-existent. We meet Jenny, a transgender college student; Kami, a fearless cross-dressing gay dancer, who openly lives with his boyfriend, Waseem, a wedding entertainer, and Neeli who played a huge part when the supreme court in Pakistan changed the constitution in favour of a third gender. Open City Docs Fest takes place 20-23 June in central London cinemas and screening rooms including Bloomsbury Theatre, UCL and our bespoke Cinema Tent. Block your diary now for the worlds best docs and queer films with live music, filmmaker discussions, workshops and expanded cinema events. www.opencitydocsfest.com
